I READ with disbelief in Saturday’s Echo about the market winning an award for the best small market, what constitutes a market? “Indoor market recognised as one of the best in the UK” (Echo, Feb 3).
It’s just a large hall filled with fast food cabins.
It’s a joke.
No wonder Northallerton is booming.
Darlington town centre is being ruined by this not-for-purpose council.
