A woman had been charged with attempted murder and aggravated burglary after reports of someone falling from a height.
Emergency services descended on Parkfield Way, Stockton. during the early hours of Sunday (April 7) morning.
A large area was cordoned off by police as forensic officers examined the scene.
A Cleveland Police spokesperson previously said that a 20-year-old was reported to have fallen from a height and sustained serious injuries. He remains in hospital.
A Cleveland Police spokesperson said: "A 32-year-old woman has been charged with attempted murder and aggravated burglary after a report of an incident on Parkfield Way in Stockton on Sunday, April 7.

"The woman is due to appear at Teesside Magistrates Court today, Wednesday, April 10.
"A fourth person, a 45-year-old man, was also arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and he remains in police custody.
"Two other males aged 21 and 24 arrested on suspicion of attempted murder have been bailed whilst enquiries continue."
