PURDIE Charles Passed away on 5th April 2024, aged 93 years. Beloved husband of the late Joan, much loved dad of David, Diane & Lynn, a dear father-in-law, grandad and great grandad. Funeral Tuesday 30th April 2024. Would friends please meet 1.00pm for service at the West Cemetery Chapel, Darlington, followed by burial in the West Cemetery. Family flowers only please. I knew Charlie via my own father Clarry Wilkinson. They were both leek growers and I recall good friends. I remember him from my childhood through to adulthood and always found him to be a lovely man. He gave us our first table and chairs when we married in 1976. Sorry for your loss.
