SMITH Joan, nee Stephenson, of Bishop Auckland and formally Cockfield, died peacefully on the 19th May aged 88. A beloved wife of Alan, much loved and loving mam to John and David, mother-in-law to Denise and Lauren, cherished gran to Kirby and Shaunna and Daniel, Mathew and Amy, as well as dear sister to Marjorie. Will family and friends please meet for the service at Darlington Crematorium Chapel for 12 noon on Tuesday 6th June. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu may, if desired, be left for the Asthma & Lung UK Charity.
