CRAMP Professor Dame Rosemary Died on 27th April 2023 in Durham, deeply mourned by her family and friends. Funeral at St Cuthbert's RC Church, Old Elvet, Durham at 11 am on Friday 19th May, to be followed by interment at Cranoe, Leicestershire. Family flowers only. There will be a memorial service in Durham later.Tributes

Professor Cramp was a truly inspiring woman. She cared deeply about her work. I met her while volunteering at St Paul's Church, Jarrow where she had carried out an excavation in 1971. A lot of the information we pass on to visitors was discovered or verified by her work. A huge miss to us.
