BROWN Melvyn of Coundon, aged 76 years, 16th April, peacefully in the care of Darlington Memorial Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Devoted husband to Maureen. Loving dad to Carolyn, Michael, and Paul. A dear granda, great-granda, and father-in-law. A treasured family member and a good friend to many. Melvyn will be sadly missed by all who knew him. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday 9th May, at the Wear Valley Crematorium, at 11.30am. Following the service, the family warmly invites everyone for refreshments at the Conservative Club, Coundon. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers may be left at the crematorium, for the 'Myeloma Cancer Charity'.
